Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon who operated on Kanye West's mom before she died, is sentenced to a year in jail for a drunken driving incident last summer.

On the very same day that TMZ posted a video showing the very physical arrest of actors Josh Brolin and Jeffrey Wright outside of a Louisiana bar, word is the charges against the two will now be dropped.

If exiled director Roman Polanski hoped that thirty years would dampen the enthusiasm of prosecutors, he hoped for too much. He received a sexually explicit court motion Tuesday detailing their intention to fight dismissal of Polanski's three-decade-old conviction for raping a 13-year-old girl. Polanski's lawyers filed a motion in December to dismiss the case, after a popular documentary suggested a pattern of judicial and prosecutorial misconduct.

Two years after losing his license for driving under the influence in New York, 'Men in Black' star Rip Torn has been arrested again for a suspected DUI. After previous reports that Sharon Osbourne allegedly attacked one of her 'Charm School' contestants during the show's reunion episode, VH1 finally debuted a very edited version of the fight on Sunday. Pulitzer Prize winning playwright and actor Sam Shepard was arrested in a central Illinois town for allegedly driving under the influence. According to the police, a breath test showed that Shepard's blood-alcohol level was double the legal limit.

Heather Locklear has avoided a potentially costly DUI case by pleading no contest to reckless driving related to her arrest last year. The former 'Melrose Place' star has been sentenced to three years informal probation, a fine of $700 and she must complete a DMV road and safety class.
