If exiled director Roman Polanski hoped that thirty years would dampen the enthusiasm of prosecutors, he hoped for too much. He received a sexually explicit court motion Tuesday detailing their intention to fight dismissal of Polanski's three-decade-old conviction for raping a 13-year-old girl. Polanski's lawyers filed a motion in December to dismiss the case, after a popular documentary suggested a pattern of judicial and prosecutorial misconduct.

Two years after losing his license for driving under the influence in New York, 'Men in Black' star Rip Torn has been arrested again for a suspected DUI. According to police, the actor failed part of the field sobriety test before blaming it on the uneven ground, refusing to finish and cursing at officers. Torn is shown here in his 2006 mugshot.
