Jackson's Glove Hid Disease, Pal Says

Michael Jackson's sequined white glove became a signature fashion item for the King of Pop, but according to a friend of Jackson, it was really used to cloak the early stages of his skin disease. "Michael was beginning to develop the vitiligo and it started on his hand. The glove was to cover the vitiligo; that's how that glove came into being," actress Cicely Tyson said during an interview with Larry King.

About to Pop: Richgirl

Who: Richgirl
Album: 'Richgirl'
Video: 'He Ain't Wit Me Now (Tho)'
Hails From: Atlanta, GA
For Fans Of: En Vogue and Spice Girls
Why They're About to Pop: Richgirl is the newest R&B girl group to hit the scene. Beyond being conceptualized by Grammy Award-winning songwriter and producer Rich Harrison, these four women -- Audra, Brave, Lyndriette and Seven -- apply a different definition of "rich" to their group name. The "rich" in Richgirl refers to "an attitude and confidence," not a monetary status. Audra hails from San Diego, Brave is a Baltimore native, Lyndriette brings her southern, North Carolina roots to the mix and Seven represents Florida, and while they come from all different parts of the country, the girls come together in complete harmony. With their self-titled debut album still yet to hit stores, Richgirl have already opened for Mario on the "BK FamFest" tour and are currently opening for Beyonce on the U.S. portion of her 2009 "I Am..." tour. With rotation on MTV Hits, MTV Jams and VH1 Soul, their single, 'He Ain't Wit Me Now (Tho),' has paved the way for Richgirl's forthcoming album and demonstrates the group's "down to earth girl power," which they hope to instill in their ever-growing fanbase.
