'Medium' Feels the Wrath of 'Bruno'

Sacha Baron Cohen is one sneaky, ambitious dude. The 'Borat' comedian now filming his next movie, 'Bruno,' somehow crashed the set of NBC's 'Medium,' causing the show to shut down production temporarily, EW's Michael Ausiello is reporting.

Sacha Baron Cohen, the man behind prank-pulling characters Borat, Ali G and Bruno, found his latest victim right on the NBC studio lot. Cohen somehow infiltrated a taping of the show 'Medium' as an extra, and continuously disrupted the show, EW's Michael Ausiello is reporting.

This would be the first in a string of public pranks Cohen has pulled off in the name of 'Bruno,' his upcoming film.

Partially amused and angered, security is seen tugging on his cloak to remove him from the stage. 'Bruno' is set to be released some time in 2009.

Cohen's Bruno character passes himself off as a gay German reporter. In the past, like Cohen's Borat character, Bruno has had his way -- comically speaking -- with frat boys, historians and politicians.

For the 'Bruno' movie, Cohen has already reportedly worked his magic on California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger as well as a former Israeli Mossad agent. During the latter questioning, he confused the Palestinian political group Hamas (suicide bomb advocates) with hummus (delicious chickpea spread).

Cohen's 'Borat' movie in 2006 was a runaway hit, as Cohen took his faux-Kazakhstani character across America searching for Pamela Anderson, while exposing racism and overall stupidity during his journey. His pro-America schtick at a Texas rodeo had the actor fearing for his life, he later admitted.

Borat's trademark thumbs-up and sayings -- "niiiice," "sexy time" among them -- became a cultural phenomenon as the movie approached and became a hit.

Cohen went on to win a Golden Globe award for 'Borat,' snagging the award for Best Performance By An Actor in a Musical or Comedy.

Cohen's big break into showbiz came with another character. He landed a show on HBO titled 'Da Ali G Show,' playing a wannabe-gangster British white guy who also sabotaged unsuspecting interview acceptees.

Why the Keyser Söze would Stephen Baldwin get a tattoo honoring 'Hannah Montana'? Because Miley Cyrus dared him, that's why. (Psst, that and the actress supposedly promised to get the actor a guest spot.) But Disney says the actor is "not cast" in a future show, and Baldwin's rep says he "kept his end of the deal" and is "still waiting for his cameo." Fail!
